用法：通常用單數。表示「全世界的人」時，動詞可依語意用單數或複數，但正式寫作中常用單數。

人生；生活；天地
某個人所經歷、重視或關心的一切；也可指其生活狀況。
用法：常搭配所有格，如「my world」、「her world」。在「mean the world to someone」中，world 前通常有定冠詞。
My family means the world to me.

Moving to a new city opened up a new world for him.

用法：通常以單數並搭配定冠詞使用。
