我（受格）
第一人稱單數代名詞，用來指稱說話者自己，作為動詞的受詞或介系詞的受詞
用法：例如「他看見我」及「和我一起」中的「我」都使用此形式。不可在標準正式英語中把此形式當作單獨主詞使用
My sister gave me a card.
我姊姊給我一張卡片。

用於連綴動詞後，指認或強調說話者就是所指的人；口語中十分常見
用法：正式文體有時會使用「我是」的主格形式，但日常英語通常說「是我」而不是較生硬的正式形式

我（非正式並列主詞中的形式）
在非正式口語中，與另一個名詞或代名詞並列作為主詞時使用的形式
用法：在正式英語中，應把自己放在並列主詞的最後，並使用主格形式；例如「我的朋友和我」而不是「我和我的朋友」中的受格形式
Me and my brother are taking the bus to school.
我和我弟弟要搭公車去學校。
The teacher gave the prizes to my friend and me.
老師把獎品給了我的朋友和我。

自我；自己
一個人的個性、感受或真正的自我；通常出現在特定片語中
用法：作名詞時通常前面有冠詞或其他限定詞，例如「真正的我」或「最好的自己」
I can be the real me with my best friends.
我和我最好的朋友在一起時，可以做真正的自己。
