滿的；裝滿的；充滿……的
指容器、空間或某處已裝有足量的人、物或內容，幾乎或完全沒有空位。也可用於抽象事物，表示充滿某種感受、想法或活動。
用法：「be full of＋名詞」表示「充滿……」。描述容器時，也可說「be full」而不說明裝了什麼。
The cup is full, so do not put in more water.
杯子滿了，所以不要再加水。
The room was full of parents on school day.
學校活動那天，房間裡都是家長。

完整的；全部的；全額的
表示某事物沒有缺少部分，或某人得到、支付或使用全部的數量。
用法：「full name」是全名；「pay in full」是全額付清。「full」用於付款金額時，不表示「很多」，而表示款項沒有欠缺。

請在這張紙上寫下你的全名和學號。
My family paid for the train tickets in full before the trip.

表示已經吃了足夠的食物，暫時不想再吃。
用法：「I am full」是「我吃飽了」；不必加「of food」。若要婉轉拒絕食物，可說「I am full, thank you」。

指餐廳、交通工具、活動或行程已沒有可用名額、座位、房間或空檔。
用法：場所或活動作主詞時，常說「be full」。說行程時，可說「have a full schedule」。
The bus was full, so we waited for the next bus.
公車滿了，所以我們等下一班公車。

濃郁的；飽滿的；洪亮的
用來形容味道、聲音、外觀或形體豐富而強烈，給人充實、飽滿的感覺。
用法：此義通常置於名詞前，如「full flavor」或「a full voice」。
The singer filled the room with her full, clear voice.
那位歌手用她響亮、清楚的歌聲充滿了房間。

指月亮呈現完整圓形的狀態。
用法：通常說「a full moon」，而不是單獨以「full」指月亮。
