用法：可數名詞。泛指這類動物時，常用複數；指某一隻時，前面要用冠詞或其他限定詞。

校外教學時，我們在池塘附近看見好幾隻青蛙。
The children heard frogs after the summer rain.

對法國人的貶抑稱呼，帶有冒犯性。
用法：作此義時通常以複數形式出現，但無論單複數都可能造成冒犯。
