使電力、水、電話、網路、資金或其他供應與連結停止。
用法：cut off 也可表示「切斷」或「隔絕」，且通常更強調完全中斷或使人無法取得某物。
The heavy rain cut power to many homes.

缺課；翹課
故意不去上原本應該參加的課程或活動。
用法：cut class 中的 class 通常不加冠詞。若是特定一堂課，也可說 cut a class。
