作弊；以不誠實手段取得好處
在考試、比賽、遊戲等情況中違反規則，藉此獲得不公平的優勢。
用法：可單獨使用，也可接介系詞片語。表示在哪一項考試或作業作弊時，常接 on。

對伴侶不忠；出軌
在已有伴侶關係的情況下，與另一人發展親密或性關係，因而違背對伴侶的承諾。
用法：對象前通常用 on：cheat on someone。若要說第三者，可用 cheat on someone with someone。

逃過；躲過
僥倖避開原本可能遭遇的死亡、懲罰或不幸。
用法：cheat death 是固定說法，意為「死裡逃生」；不宜理解為字面上的「欺騙死亡」。

作弊的人；騙子
以不誠實手段獲利、違反規則，或欺騙他人的人。
用法：作名詞時是可數名詞，通常需搭配冠詞、數量詞或複數形式。
No one wanted to play cards with him because they thought he was a cheat.
沒人想跟他玩撲克牌，因為大家認為他會作弊。
6.
小抄；作弊用的資料
為了在考試或其他評量中違規取得答案而偷帶或偷看的資料。
用法：cheat sheet 是可數名詞片語。若老師允許攜帶，通常不表示作弊。
Our science teacher let us bring one small piece of paper with notes to the big test. It was not cheating.
