表示在某個地方周圍、各處活動，或朝不同方向移動。
用法：作副詞時可不接受詞。和 around 意思相近，但 about 在某些搭配中較固定，例如 out and about。

After being sick for a week, Grandpa is out and about again.

用於 be about to 加上原形動詞，表示某事很快就要發生。
用法：固定用法是 be about to 加原形動詞。通常不和表示較長未來時間的詞語連用。
